Bronzed Lines III is a beautiful 6 foot wide bronzed installation that is a functioning door with hidden door pull. The installation has a 6 inch area that interlocks and compresses into 3 inches to allow for the door to open. The final result allowed my client to install a 6 foot piece of art on a wall that was otherwise dominated by the bathroom door. 

 

The Lines Series was a perfect series for this project since the repetitive layers of dripped bronze elements allowed me to design the needed functionality and use of shadows to hide the door lines.
